Blue Horses

This is Radar and his pal Rip mini sized. (Perspective) Radar was my daughter’s wrangle horse last summer at Yellowstone, Canyon Village rides. Radar was a character and liked Gatorade. His nose really was quite crinkly as pictured here. I rode Rip once and he had quite a strong opinion about leaving the corrals at dinner time. The looming thunder storm didn’t help. The image is Radar in his natural look.

This painting is M Graham watercolors and on BFK Rives paper. 14″ x 10″. Watch for more paintings of the horses who work all summer at YNP.
