Black Watercolor Paper?

Yes! Black watercolor paper is super fun to paint on. So very different in how the paint moves across the paper and responds to the light. These two paintings will be part of an upcoming show at Wilderbee Farm in Port Townsend Washington this November.

Spirit Bird. 12″ x 8″, watercolor on paper. $300.00 This hen, Snowy, was my little buddy. She enjoyed pecking at my ankles if I did not pay enough attention to her. She scored many treats and of course, enjoyed being held and pet. Her passing made me quite sad.

Wink’s Flowers, 10″ x 10″, watercolor on paper. $300.00. Some artist friends of mine have a unique Jack Russel named Wink. These beautiful Icelandic Poppies are in his back yard.
